Film photography has been on the rise in every industry, and we’re loving the trend of wedding photos in film. - they make your memories so timeless and romantic. We’re expecting to see a lot more film photographers at 2022 weddings.
We’re predicting that 2022 weddings will be minimal, monochromatic, light, and airy! This goes for decor, florals, and even guest attire! We’ve seen a new trend of couples asking guests to wear a certain color and the result is gorgeous.”
To the couple getting married in 2022: “Don't spend $40,000 to be stressed on your wedding day! Hire a wedding coordinator and be proactive about planning. The wedding boom is here and couples are booking their vendors 15 to 18 months in advance!”

One of my recent brides rented a room at a pet-friendly hotel so she could have her dog with her while getting ready and then portraits with her dog around the hotel. I definitely wish to see more of that in 2022!”

I imagine we will see more venues booking celebrations held for past micro-weddings, renewal of vows, destination weddings as traveling becomes more accessible, and an overall desire to have larger celebrations!”

Brides and designers are now more than ever looking to use locally grown and harvested flowers for their weddings. In some cases, we have been asked to grow a specific type or color of flower specifically for a wedding and we love that!”

Not only will they end up with flowers that are unique compared to other weddings, but they will support local growers and become part of the slower-flower movement, a movement to bring more flower growers back to the United States.”

We have definitely seen a huge increase in the multi-day wedding celebrations, welcome party, wedding day, brunch at the winery, etc.
In terms of design, gold will still remain supreme when it comes to decor, hardware, charger plates, flatware, candle holders, etc. I love the combination of natural and modern glam: thin farm tables, wooden cross backs with fancy plate settings.
I love blush, dusty blue, and burgundy, but it's time to let some new colors shine.”
